Behind the temple is a wall 108 stone faucets each having same the shape of a bull`s head. Ice-cold water from Kali Gantaki River flows through the mouths of these faucets. It is believed that the water carries great significance and people visiting the temple stands beneath each stream.
The breathtaking view of the Himalayas and scenic beauty of Kathmandu Valley makes Nagarkot an alluring hill station of Nepal. This fascinating place should not be amiss on a traveler`s itinerary because of the fact that Nagarkot is a blessed haven to witness eye-catching sunrise and sunset vision.
The Sagarmatha National Park ranks top in the world`s highest national parks. Spread over an area of 1148 sq. km, its border houses the lives of approximately 3,000 Sherpas. Although Sagarmatha is an ideal destination for adventure lovers, due to its high altitude, trekkers may come across several health issues such as headaches, nausea, breathlessness, appetite loss and general tiredness.
The Chitwan National Park is a top tourist destination in Nepal which stretches up to 932 sq. km with vegetation, grassland, and forests. The Park is famous for its rich variety of flora and fauna and the single-horned Rhino. Within the Park, one can also take a close witness of Royal Bengal Tigers, Asiatic elephants, sloth bears, leopards, deer and a various species of birds.

By Air

By Road

Since Nepal does not require obtaining a visa in order to enter the country it is easily accessible via road from various other regions. While traveling from Siliguri, West Bengal, one can board buses or shared jeeps up to Kakarbhitta crossing the Panitanki border and then taking regular buses to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

By Train

Though there are a number of routes to reach Nepal, one nearest railhead is the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), which can lead you up to Raxual Junction (RXL) in approximately 13 hrs and 55 minutes. From Raxual Junction, you can reach Kathmandu by hiring a car and covering a distance of about 2 hours and 26 minutes.
